Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Bath Of Consolation by Song Yonghong. It changed hands for a price of HKD 118,000.00 (€ 10,974.77) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Yonghong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Production Line in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 2,180,000.00 (€ 189,450.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bath Of Consolation von Song Yonghong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 118.000,00 (€ 10.974,77) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Yonghong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Production Line im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.180.000,00 (€ 189.450,10).
