Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Embracing Hong Kong by Song Yonghong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,557.07), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Yonghong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Production Line in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 2,180,000.00 (€ 189,450.10).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Embracing Hong Kong von Song Yonghong kam im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.557,07) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Yonghong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Production Line im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.180.000,00 (€ 189.450,10).
