Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Male & Female by Song Yonghong was sold in the Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2008. It achieved a price of HKD 57,500.00 (€ 5,329.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Yonghong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Production Line in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 2,180,000.00 (€ 189,450.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Male & Female von Song Yonghong wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 57.500,00 (€ 5.329,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Yonghong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Production Line im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.180.000,00 (€ 189.450,10).
