The work Bath of Consolation by Song Yonghong was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. It achieved a price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,388.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Song Yonghong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Production Line in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 2,180,000.00 (€ 189,450.10).

Die Arbeit Bath of Consolation von Song Yonghong wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.388,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Song Yonghong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Production Line im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.180.000,00 (€ 189.450,10).
