Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bath Of Consolation by Song Yonghong was sold in the Contemporary Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 27,972.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Song Yonghong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Production Line in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 2,180,000.00 (€ 189,450.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bath Of Consolation von Song Yonghong wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 27.972,72) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Song Yonghong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Production Line im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.180.000,00 (€ 189.450,10).
