This work without title by Somnath Hore was sold in the South Asian Art Online Sale auction at Bonhams in London in December 2018. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 937.50 (€ 1,044.46), 34% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Somnath Hore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Draupadi and Shakuni in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 100,524.85).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Somnath Hore wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion South Asian Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 937,50 (€ 1.044,46) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Somnath Hore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Draupadi and Shakuni im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 100.524,85).
