This work without title by Sohrab Sepehri was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in October 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 11,340.00 (€ 12,592.10), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sohrab Sepehri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (From The Tree Trunks Series) in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 409,250.00 (€ 471,871.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sohrab Sepehri wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.340,00 (€ 12.592,10) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sohrab Sepehri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (From The Tree Trunks Series) im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 409.250,00 (€ 471.871,67).
