Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Abstract series) by Sohrab Sepehri was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 38,400.00 (€ 44,497.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sohrab Sepehri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (From The Tree Trunks Series) in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 409,250.00 (€ 471,871.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Abstract series) von Sohrab Sepehri wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 38.400,00 (€ 44.497,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sohrab Sepehri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (From The Tree Trunks Series) im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 409.250,00 (€ 471.871,67).
