It achieved a price of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 64,136.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Admittedly, works by Sohrab Sepehri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (From The Tree Trunks Series) in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 409,250.00 (€ 471,871.67).

Die Arbeit Iranian untitled von Sohrab Sepehri kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 64.136,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sohrab Sepehri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (From The Tree Trunks Series) im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 409.250,00 (€ 471.871,67).
