Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The Sculpture Sale, which included the work Vitality by Sofu Teshigahara. It changed hands for a price of EUR 19,200.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sofu Teshigahara - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens), which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 49,290.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The Sculpture Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vitality von Sofu Teshigahara zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 19.200,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sofu Teshigahara mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens) beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 49.290,93) versteigert wurde.
