Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.398,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Slim Aarons auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poolside Gossip, 1970 im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.320,00 (€ 38.265,16).
