Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 22,127.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gertrude Morgan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Precious Lord, 1970-1975, which sold at auction in January 2017 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 63,692.79).
