In January 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Outsider and Vernacular Art, which included the work New Jerusalem: Get Your Business Fixed by Gertrude Morgan. The price achieved of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,461.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gertrude Morgan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Precious Lord, 1970-1975, which sold at auction in January 2017 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 63,692.79).

Im Januar 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Outsider and Vernacular Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit New Jerusalem: Get Your Business Fixed von Gertrude Morgan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.461,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
