The work Let's Make A Record by Gertrude Morgan was sold in the Outsider Art auction at Christies in New York in January 2020. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,625.00 (€ 5,070.77), 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gertrude Morgan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Precious Lord, 1970-1975 in January 2017 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 63,692.79).

Die Arbeit Let's Make A Record von Gertrude Morgan wurde im Januar 2020 in der Auktion Outsider Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 5.070,77) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gertrude Morgan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Precious Lord, 1970-1975 im Januar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 63.692,79).
