Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Sirak Melkonian was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,457.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sirak Melkonian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Saturn) in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 81,312.00 (€ 89,551.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sirak Melkonian kam im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.457,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sirak Melkonian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Saturn) im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.312,00 (€ 89.551,08).
