Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Abstract Landscape) by Sirak Melkonian was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections auction at Bonhams in London in June 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,159.98), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sirak Melkonian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Saturn) in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 81,312.00 (€ 89,551.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Abstract Landscape) von Sirak Melkonian wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.159,98) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sirak Melkonian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Saturn) im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.312,00 (€ 89.551,08).
