Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included this untitled work by Sirak Melkonian. The price achieved of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 74,637.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Sirak Melkonian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2020 the work Untitled (Saturn) was auctioned for GBP 81,312.00 (€ 89,551.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sirak Melkonian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 74.637,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Sirak Melkonian konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2020 die Arbeit Untitled (Saturn) für GBP 81.312,00 (€ 89.551,08) versteigert.
