Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Sirak Melkonian was auctioned at Bonhams in January this year. The price achieved of GBP 15,300.00 (€ 17,365.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sirak Melkonian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Saturn) in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 81,312.00 (€ 89,551.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sirak Melkonian kam im Januar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.300,00 (€ 17.365,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sirak Melkonian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Saturn) im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.312,00 (€ 89.551,08).
