Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Alcazar Gardens by Sir William Nicholson was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 21,500.00 (€ 24,001.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sir William Nicholson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunflowers in March this year with an auction result of GBP 756,000.00 (€ 860,096.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Alcazar Gardens von Sir William Nicholson kam im November 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 21.500,00 (€ 24.001,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sir William Nicholson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunflowers im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 756.000,00 (€ 860.096,03).
