The work Beatitude 3: Seeing by Stanley Spencer was worth GBP 620,000.00 (€ 692,129.23) to a buyer in November 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Post-War British Art at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 120,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanley Spencer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christ Preaching At Cookham Regatta: Conversation Between Punts in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 6,018,500.00 (€ 7,242,459.25).

Die Arbeit Beatitude 3: Seeing von Stanley Spencer war einem Käufer im November 2020 GBP 620.000,00 (€ 692.129,23) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 120.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stanley Spencer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Christ Preaching At Cookham Regatta: Conversation Between Punts im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.018.500,00 (€ 7.242.459,25).
