In December 2017 Christies in London held the auction The Astor Collection From Tillypronie, Aberdeenshire, which included the work Pintails And Green-Winged Teal by Peter Markham Scott. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,473.61), 72% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Peter Markham Scott; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mallard and Teal in Flight sold at auction in May 2020 with the realized price of GBP 25,062.00 (€ 27,821.58).

Im Dezember 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Astor Collection From Tillypronie, Aberdeenshire durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pintails And Green-Winged Teal von Peter Markham Scott zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.473,61) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Peter Markham Scott; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Mallard and Teal in Flight im Mai 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 25.062,00 (€ 27.821,58).
