Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Peter Markham Scott could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Astor Collection From Tillypronie, Aberdeenshire auction, the work 119 Original Illustrations For 'Adventures Amongst Birds', 1926 changed hands for GBP 750.00 (€ 844.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Markham Scott achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mallard and Teal in Flight in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 25,062.00 (€ 27,821.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Markham Scott konnte im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Astor Collection From Tillypronie, Aberdeenshire wechselte die Arbeit 119 Original Illustrations For 'Adventures Amongst Birds', 1926 für GBP 750,00 (€ 844,02) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00.
