Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Caspian Dawn, Lesser Whitefronted Geese by Peter Markham Scott was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 5,355.00 (€ 6,394.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Markham Scott have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mallard and Teal in Flight in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 25,062.00 (€ 27,821.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Caspian Dawn, Lesser Whitefronted Geese von Peter Markham Scott wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.355,00 (€ 6.394,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Markham Scott auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mallard and Teal in Flight im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.062,00 (€ 27.821,58).
