Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Ducks at Sunset by Peter Markham Scott. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,106.54). Admittedly, works by Peter Markham Scott have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mallard and Teal in Flight in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 25,062.00 (€ 27,821.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ducks at Sunset von Peter Markham Scott zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.106,54) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Markham Scott auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mallard and Teal in Flight im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.062,00 (€ 27.821,58).
