However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oswald Joseph Hornby Birley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of Mark Birley (1930-2007), as a boy, which sold at auction in November 2018 for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,659.01).
