It achieved a price of GBP 126,000.00 (€ 147,935.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Admittedly, works by John Lavery have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Terrace, Cap d'Ail in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 1,162,500.00 (€ 1,363,272.29).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 126.000,00 (€ 147.935,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Lavery auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Terrace, Cap d'Ail im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.162.500,00 (€ 1.363.272,29).
