The work John Wycliffe Taylor, at the age of five by John Everett Millais was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 162,500.00 (€ 181,039.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Everett Millais achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sisters in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 2,301,875.00 (€ 2,630,293.40).

Die Arbeit John Wycliffe Taylor, at the age of five von John Everett Millais kam im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 162.500,00 (€ 181.039,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Everett Millais erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sisters im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.301.875,00 (€ 2.630.293,40).
