Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vegetation by Simryn Gill was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2012. The price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,500.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Simryn Gill have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August 2009 the work Malaysian Forest Nos. 3, 4, 11 was auctioned for AUD 15,600.00 (€ 9,171.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vegetation von Simryn Gill kam im Juni 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.500,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Simryn Gill konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im August 2009 die Arbeit Malaysian Forest Nos. 3, 4, 11 für AUD 15.600,00 (€ 9.171,55) versteigert.
