Despite a disappointment, a good price for Simon English
In February 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work Box 1 by Simon English for GBP 2,937.50 (€ 4,602.36). This price was achieved in the auction CONTEMPORARY ART at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Box 1 is the most expensive artwork by Simon English that we have observed at auction so far.

Im Februar 2001 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Box 1 von Simon English für GBP 2.937,50 (€ 4.602,36) erwerben.
