The work Love by Simon English was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,216.03), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Simon English - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Box 1, which sold at auction in February 2001 for GBP 2,937.50 (€ 4,602.36).

Die Arbeit Love von Simon English kam im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.216,03) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Simon English mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Box 1 beobachtet, die im Februar 2001 für GBP 2.937,50 (€ 4.602,36) versteigert wurde.
