This artwork by Simon-Albert Bussy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in March this year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Angel Fish sold for GBP 16,575.00 (€ 18,857.26) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Simon-Albert Bussy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Deux perroquets, which sold at auction in March 2021 for EUR 37,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Simon-Albert Bussy erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Angel Fish für GBP 16.575,00 (€ 18.857,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Simon-Albert Bussy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Deux perroquets beobachtet, die im März 2021 für EUR 37.800,00 versteigert wurde.
