In October 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Crossed Viper by Simon-Albert Bussy. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,032.00 (€ 3,461.84), 34% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon-Albert Bussy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Deux perroquets in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 37,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Crossed Viper von Simon-Albert Bussy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.032,00 (€ 3.461,84) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simon-Albert Bussy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Deux perroquets im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.800,00.
