The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,948.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simkha Simkhovitch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian dance in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,500.00 (€ 67,912.55).
