In the Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art auction, the work Village Road changed hands for USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,378.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Simkha Simkhovitch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian dance in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,500.00 (€ 67,912.55).
