Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Christies in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work A Blow is Enough by Roberta Silva. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,169.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roberta Silva - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Basta Un Soffio, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,013.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Blow is Enough von Roberta Silva zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.169,86) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Roberta Silva mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Basta Un Soffio beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.013,64) versteigert wurde.
