Auction result misses estimated price range

In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Paysage Aux Toits Rouges changed hands for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,331.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sigmund Joseph Menkes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nu, 1924 in October 2011 with an auction result of EUR 71,173.00.
