Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2005 Christies in Tel Aviv held the auction 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART, which included the work Orla Walking On The Seashore; Orla Over The Shoulder by Sigalit Landau. The price achieved of USD 4,800.00 (€ 3,886.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sigalit Landau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Deadsee in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 90,717.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in Tel Aviv die Auktion 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Orla Walking On The Seashore; Orla Over The Shoulder von Sigalit Landau zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.800,00 (€ 3.886,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sigalit Landau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Deadsee im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 90.717,76).
