A top price for Sigalit Landau - as previously expected
The work Deadsee by Sigalit Landau was sold in the Israeli & International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2013. The price achieved of USD 125,000.00 (€ 90,717.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Deadsee is the most expensive artwork by Sigalit Landau that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Deadsee von Sigalit Landau wurde im Dezember 2013 in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 90.717,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Deadsee das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sigalit Landau, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
