Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Frames From Deadsee: Five Photographs by Sigalit Landau was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2013. The price achieved of USD 28,125.00 (€ 20,411.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sigalit Landau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Deadsee in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 90,717.76).

Die Arbeit Frames From Deadsee: Five Photographs von Sigalit Landau kam im Dezember 2013 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 28.125,00 (€ 20.411,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sigalit Landau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Deadsee im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 90.717,76).
