Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sidney Harold Meteyard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Saint Cecilia, which sold at auction in November 2004 for GBP 59,750.00 (€ 85,950.05).
