This artwork by Sidney Harold Meteyard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2014. In the The Neil Wilson Collection: A Romantic Vision auction, the work Five stained glass window designs including two for Red Lodge, Bristol (two illustrated) sold for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,408.34) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sidney Harold Meteyard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint Cecilia in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 59,750.00 (€ 85,950.05).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sidney Harold Meteyard erzielte im September 2014 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Neil Wilson Collection: A Romantic Vision wurde die Arbeit Five stained glass window designs including two for Red Lodge, Bristol (two illustrated) für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.408,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sidney Harold Meteyard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Saint Cecilia im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 59.750,00 (€ 85.950,05).
