Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (9303) by Mukai Shuji for USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,758.95). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mukai Shuji - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Work 11, which sold at auction in October 2016 for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 41,187.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (9303) von Mukai Shuji für USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.758,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mukai Shuji mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Work 11 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 41.187,74) versteigert wurde.
