A top price for Mukai Shuji
This artwork by Mukai Shuji achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Work 11 sold for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 41,187.74) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 160,000.00. This high result makes Work 11 the most expensive artwork by Mukai Shuji that we have observed at auctions so far.
