The work Magi 905 by Shozo Shimamoto was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 92,191.40), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shozo Shimamoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Explosion 64-1 in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 20,500,000.00 (€ 2,419,733.82).

Die Arbeit Magi 905 von Shozo Shimamoto kam im März 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 92.191,40) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shozo Shimamoto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Explosion 64-1 im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 20.500.000,00 (€ 2.419.733,82).
