Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2016 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Kogitsune Tanjō Appearance of a Fox Cub by Shōji Ueda. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,375.00 (€ 4,404.02). Other works by Shōji Ueda have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,747.18) in April 2011 for the work Self-Portrait With Cat ('Me And Cat').
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kogitsune Tanjō Appearance of a Fox Cub von Shōji Ueda zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.375,00 (€ 4.404,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Shōji Ueda haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 6.747,18) im April 2011 für die Arbeit Self-Portrait With Cat ('Me And Cat') beobachtet.
