Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscape in Fine Brush by Shitao was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 562,500.00 (€ 61,455.66). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shitao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems, Calligraphy And Landscape in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,946,000.00 (€ 3,673,773.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape in Fine Brush von Shitao kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 562.500,00 (€ 61.455,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shitao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems, Calligraphy And Landscape im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.946.000,00 (€ 3.673.773,39).
