Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Shinkichi Tajiri was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2016. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shinkichi Tajiri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Guerrier - Warrior in October 2012 with an auction result of EUR 58,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shinkichi Tajiri wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shinkichi Tajiri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Guerrier - Warrior im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 58.600,00.
