Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2010 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Royal Coach by Shi Xinning. The price achieved of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 70,622.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shi Xinning - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mao And Mccarthy, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 372,000.00 (€ 278,151.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Royal Coach von Shi Xinning zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 61.250,00 (€ 70.622,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Shi Xinning mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mao And Mccarthy beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 372.000,00 (€ 278.151,64) versteigert wurde.
