In the The Collection of Thomas and Doris Ammann Evening Sale auction, the work Untitled (Two Inch Stripes) #1 sold for USD 107,100.00 (€ 99,804.31) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sherrie Levine have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fountain (After Marcel Duchamp) in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 962,500.00 (€ 778,469.75).
