Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Endless power, 2016 by Shepard Fairey was auctioned at Bonhams in Brussels in December this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,840.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shepard Fairey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Obama Hope in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 600,800.00 (€ 515,840.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Endless power, 2016 von Shepard Fairey kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Brüssel zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.840,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shepard Fairey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Obama Hope im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 600.800,00 (€ 515.840,99).
